Born in Ecuador, Félix Endara is a bilingual creative professional based in New York City, where he works in private philanthropy and as an independent film writer, director, and producer. He has over 15 years of experience in filmmaking, philanthropy, and arts administration, collaborating with organizations that support multidisciplinary artists and organizations, including the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, North Star Fund, Detroit Narrative Agency, Tribeca Film Institute, New Orleans Film Festival, and the Open Society Foundations. In his philanthropic work, his experience supporting grantee partners is extensive and all-encompassing. He has served as mentor for emerging documentary filmmakers at Downtown Community Television, UnionDocs, and Visionary Justice StoryLab, among others.
