Malachi King aka Seven, is the founder of The Nile Creatives and Seven King Productions. With his father being a member of the legendary hip-hop group, Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, Seven is no stranger to the entertainment industry and decided to venture down his own road to greatness becoming a film director & producer, author, screenwriter, motivational speaker, and a proud member and advocate of the trans community.
Malachi attended Clark Atlanta University and quickly mastered many of the hands-on programs in Mass Media, even becoming the Mass Media Department President. During this time, he began shooting music videos for students on campus and started a few popular vlogs. That work soon led to him producing his own short films and a first-of-its-kind web series called, Eden’s Garden. The edgy show quickly rose in popularity to over 2 million views on YouTube and led to a huge opportunity to be selected by Ryan Murphy as the Top Upcoming Directors and to shadow his work on one of his sets.
Now as Malachi grows his production company that specializes in producing a variety of visual art including full-length features, web series, social media content, and documentary work, the mission is always to bring stories to life that can be felt and not just seen. Malachi prides himself in bringing a unique and modern approach to his projects. They are designed to be watched over and over again and to authentically represent the communities and social matters that are dear to his heart.
This young talent has already made a huge impact on his community and is only just getting started. Look out for more projects on the way from Seven King Productions, including a re-boot and re-branding of his popular series, Eden’s Garden which will make its new debut in the Summer of 2022.
