For the past 15 years, Devin has been positively consumed with understanding how the intersections of his identity from birth to current day has impacted his life for the better. Although navigating tough social systems Devin, a Black, Trans, and Queer man has developed a keen sense of awareness and a critical consciousness that motivates him to express and advocate for himself and others. He is devoted and passionate about supporting others as they navigate their Mind, Body, and Social experiences. Devin received his Master’s of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and specialized in LGBTQ+ disenfranchised grief, loss, and complex trauma. Devin also holds a Bachelor of Arts in photography. During 2020, at the start of the pandemic, Devin started his own practice to provide affordable therapeutic peer support for Black, trans and queer folxs. Devin leverages his experiences in nonprofit and larger institutions to provide value back into his community as a resource and access point for others.

Devin wears many hats, he is an uncle, friend, therapist, director of programs, and entrepreneur just to name a few. However, what brings him the most joy is seeing his community thrive, creative writing, and pure unadulterated joy.
